Jealousy

Judith Kellermann, Rachel Eisenberg’s new client, is said to have murdered her partner, Eike Sandner, out of jealousy. All evidence suggests that she is responsible for the explosion which killed Sandner. Kellermann claims she is innocent. However, the story that she tells her lawyers sounds decidedly strange. As Rachel prepares for the trial and researches Sandner’s background, the defendant finds a photo in a newspaper that she believes shows her “deceased” partner; on a Greek island and very much alive. But before Rachel can contact this man, he is murdered....
