During a personal existential crisis Annabelle met Greenlandic shaman Ankaara, who brought her to the land of his ancestors because he knew of her gift of prophecy. She followed his call and travelled with him on a wooden sledge through endless expanses of ice, frozen fjords and snow covered mountains in temperatures of minus 50 degrees. They headed to the old ritual sites to recover lost spiritual knowledge. She underwent many tests and was finally initiated as a shaman. But she has yet to make the most important decision: in what world does she want to live?
