The groundwater in the Vogelsberg region of Hesse is decreasing drastically, drought is threatening nature and the people who live off it. Finally, local business owners start a citizens' initiative to set an example: They want to secretly dye the water in Frankfurt's reservoir with food coloring so that it flows out of consumers' pipes red as blood.
However, especially the younger activists don't think the action is media-effective enough.
