Education first! The discourse of a school leaver during the pandemic.

Although pupils are the future of the country, they are very low on politicians’ lists of priorities and that has never been clearer than during the pandemic. Germany’s national school representative Dario Schramm has been one of the strongest and most prolific critics of school policy since the first lockdown and asks: how is it that children and adolescents are not asked about their needs? Why are they only considered last, if at all? As a school leaver during the pandemic, Schramm knows the problems and feelings of generation Covid 19 like no other. He touches on sore points and presents constructive solutions. Only those who get involved can change anything.

"‘School is the top priority' will go down as the most quoted sentence in politics, and so it is difficult when nothing happens." by Dario Schramm to ntv
