King of Rap

  • The Godfather of German Rap. And the voice of his generation.
  • Savas is the legend of hip hop
  • The Bruce Springsteen of German rap: authentic, honest and socio-critical
  • For readers of music biographies and everyone interested in (pop) culture

Kool Savas’ autobiography is the biggest book event in the rap world since Bushido’s - and with its artistic aspirations goes far beyond the genre. For the first time, Savas, the icon of battle rap, describes his personal development from an underground hip hop artist to being at the centre of a pop culture that has long since broken down all genre barriers. At the same time, his story is representative for the development of the post-migrant society. Around the millennium, the “gangsta rappers” still had to deal with breaking taboos and to fight as the underdog to get a place at the edge of the table. However, today it is no longer considered participating in society if you are just sitting at the table - you have to be driving the conversation. Savas’ book is not only a must-have for all music fans, but is also a piece of contemporary history.
