The hilarious real-life experiences of city versus country life
New home urgently sought! Tine Wittler, hitherto an avowed city dweller, had enough of all the hustle and anonymity of Hamburg and spontaneously decided to move to the country. The seemingly perfect house was quickly found and all that needed to happen was to persuade her sceptical husband and her over-adventurous city cat Smöre to move as well. Despite some teething trouble, renovations getting out of hand and numerous pitfalls, she soon learnt to value rural life with all its bizarreness. But one thing is missing: a pub for the village of just 60 souls! And who would be a better landlord than Tine Wittler herself?
