Breathe Yourself Happy

Neuroscientist Ulrich Ott can even convince the sceptics of the healing power of conscious breathing. Yoga has become mainstream — but not its breathing technique! In his new book, best-selling author Ulrich Ott and yoga teacher Janika Epe present an eight week training programme based on science. The direction, deepening and slowing of breathing (pranayama) has been proven to lead to a strengthening of the nervous system. It helps the psyche centre itself and at the same time relax. Conscious breathing is the simplest path to true well-being when the stress of daily life leaves you out of breath. With an eight week stress prevention programme
