Case 19 for iconic Inspector Julia Durant A murdered couple in the city forest of Frankfurt poses a puzzle for Julia Durant and her team. The clues are not conclusive and ultimately lead to nothing. Only when there is a further double murder does it become clear that Frankfurt is being targeted by a couples murderer. The public starts panicking, a volunteer security force is formed and Julia Durant is running out of time because the murderer appears to be attacking at increasingly short intervals. Could it be that the murders are connected to an old case from the 80s? But the perpetrator was caught back then, and committed suicide shortly after.

Andreas Franz was the most successful German mystery author. His books have all become bestsellers! The author died unexpectedly in March 2011. Daniel Holbe, who lives near Frankfurt, always enjoyed mysteries set in that area and was therefore a big Andreas Franz fan. Daniel Holbe, born 1976, lives with his family in Wetterau, not far from Frankfurt. Holbe, an avid reader, has been particularly fascinated by mysteries set in and around Frankfurt and the state of Hesse for some time.
