Angela Lund ist das Pseudonym einer erfolgreichen Autorin historischer Romane, die an der rauen Nordseeküste und am Rhein aufgewachsen ist. Als junge Frau flog sie auf einer Reise in sternenklarer Nacht über Grönland - der Beginn einer lebenslangen Passion für die Arktis und das Goldene Zeitalter der Polarforschung um 1900.
Für den biografischen Roman "Eismusik" ist Lund tief in das Leben des norwegischen Polarhelden Fridtjof Nansen eingetaucht und das seiner Frau Eva, einer namhaften Sängerin. Sie hat dazu bisher unveröffentlichte Aufzeichnungen, Fotografien und Briefe studiert sowie intensiv an Wohnorten des Paars und weiteren Originalschauplätzen recherchiert - unter anderem an Bord des Polarschiffs, das Nansen eigens für seine Fahrt ins ewige Eis bauen ließ: die legendäre  Fram .
