Jule, a pianist, leaves Vienna in a hurry to escape her violent ex-boyfriend. She finds unexpected refuge in a house in Provence. The property belongs to Jo, whom she met in a museum in Vienna and who, without knowing it, gives her the opportunity to make a fresh start. In the picturesque landscape of southern France, she opens her heart again to the beauties of everyday life – and faces her demons. Her encounter with Jo, who is also seeking to heal his wounds, teaches her that healing lies in confronting one's own history and unconditionally accepting one's own fragility. But when the past catches up with her and danger comes knocking at her door, Jule has to make a decision...
