Fools’ Crown

  • Continuation of the dark fairy tale “Dornenthron” and the conclusion of the two-parter
  • “The world and characters shine through with individuality. Traditional fairy tales are creatively and darkly retold. I’m now longing for part two.” Miss PageTurner blog about “Dornenthron”

For hundreds of years, the old palace in Ycena has been overgrown by a thorny hedge. The emperor’s daughter is sleeping within its confines and it is said that the man who wakes her with a kiss shall become emperor. Thousands have already failed to wake her, but now the hedge’s magic is weakened. Ukalion is looking for a way into the palace in order to depose his tyrannical father. Young Pearl and her brother only came because of the treasure, while the seekers Parikles and Levith want the emperor’s crown. And Anthia does not think that only men may kiss the emperor’s daughter. They all meet at the hedge, but there can only be one emperor.
