Battista Motracchi, member of the Venetian nobility, is obsessed with eliminating his competitor Rehlinger and his employee Matthias Eggenberger, and winning over beautiful Elisa.

As a result of enthusiastic reading as a child, Dagmar Holler was inspired to put pen to paper herself. However, before she fully devoted herself to writing, she worked for many years in the justice system. Her experiences in this profession made it possible for her to write many short crime stories. Her literary preference is for historical novels and fantasy. In 1998, her first texts were published and were later followed by regular short stories. She lives in Augsburg with her husband and cat, loves Paris and Ireland, and is interested in astrology.
