Sie ist als psychologische Psychotherapeutin (VT) und Supervisorin in eigener psychotherapeutischer Praxis tätig, lehrt an verschiedenen Institutionen, hat einen Master in Perimortalen Wissenschaften und forscht zum Thema Angst, tiergestützte Therapie und verwaiste Eltern.

Andreas Ströhle  studierte Humanmedizin in Erlangen und Berlin. 1995 Promotion zum Dr. med., Facharztweiterbildung Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie, Max-Planck-Institut für Psychiatrie in München. Habilitation 2003 an der LMU München. Seit 2002 an der Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, seit 2008 Universitätsprofessor.
