What a Bunch of Pickles

Football Types - The perfect gift for all football fans: Full of humour and a portion of irony, Dominik Müller summarises the world of football with 60 of its most typical representatives. Highly diverse biotopes have formed between basic football grounds and high-class arenas, between professional and amateur football clubs. From superstar Champions League winners to hard core players from second division clubs on their way down, to the hot dog saleswoman on the edge of the field in the district league. With much more than a pinch of humour, the common types of football fans, club officials and dubious peripheral figures of the best sport in the world are presented alongside players and trainer types. A book for everyone who loves football.

Dominik Müller

Dominik Müller, born in 1974, worked as an editor for the Münchner Merkur for several years. After a short phase in a football club, he decided to restrict himself to being a hobby kicker and fan. He was a season ticket holder of a renowned Munich-based football club for more than 15 years, which he followed to away games from Lisbon to Tokyo.
