Happy People Read and Drink Coffee!

Everyone knew Café Zuckerzeit in the romantic castle district of Nuremberg, famous for its sinfully delicious cakes and the warm-hearted owner, Marianne. For Lucy, the thought is unbearable that her boyfriend Sascha, who advises the widow of the owner, wants to sell the traditional café to a real estate mogul. Spurred by a sudden impulse, Lucy turns her life upside down and buys Zuckerzeit – despite having no clue about baking or running a business. Luckily, waitress Clara shows up at just the right time, and soon old and new regulars bring life back to the café. But what is the deal with the charismatic Ben, who keeps taking books from the bookshelf? Just one of many new challenges...

Ella Lindberg

Ella Lindberg attended acting school for two years and studied to be a German teacher before dedicating herself to literature. Under the name Mara Winter, she has published some easy-reading novels in smaller publishing houses. Although she now has two children, she spends more time daydreaming than she cares to admit and occasionally forgets mundane things, such as parents evenings or vacuuming. Instead, she has a lot of books, coffee and also an understanding for human shortcomings. She lives with her family in Nuremberg and spends a lot of time in bookshops and the library, and very little time in the gym.
