Assassination Attempt on Adenauer! Volume 9 of the Award-Winning Crime Series Featuring Inspector Oppenheimer

Early summer of 1952: Konrad Adenauer is the target of a letter bomb attack, which is fortunately thwarted. The persistent rumor is that radical forces from Israel are behind the attack, as the West German Chancellor is about to sign a reparations agreement with Israel’s Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion, which faces resistance in both countries. To protect the agreement, Ben-Gurion sends Israeli agents to Germany. However, collaboration between the Israelis and the German intelligence service, which includes several former Nazis, proves to be more than challenging. Can Inspector Oppenheimer, as a Jewish German, smooth the waters – and prevent another attack?

»This was my first Oppenheimer crime novel, and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. Exciting and engaging! As for me, I plan to tackle the first instalments of the Inspector Oppenheimer investigations.« Eschborner Stadtmagazin on Tanzpalast
