Bonn during the German Empire: Defiant Victoria is to be tamed by her great aunt Josefa. However, Josefa sees herself in Victoria and takes her to her factory where Victoria soon becomes known as a porcelain painter. However, when she falls in love with the impoverished nobleman Leonhard von Rothenberg, she immediately has both families against her.
