The Invulnerable Paths to Healing in Life’s Crises

We all of us suffer many little deaths in our lifetimes, are confronted with transience, separations and changes. In order to achieve inner harmony in critical situations, we have to find our way into our own sources of inner strength and discover what is invulnerable within us. Every life is subject to change – what is past fades, what is new emerges. After many years of experience counselling people in borderline situations, Lisa Freund is aware that each of us possesses an invulnerable core capable of opening up a source of strength and showing us a bond that does not need to be created by our own efforts but has always been present. This bonding must be allowed to take effect and become integrated into our daily life. The author combines scientific knowledge and practical support aided by inspiring exercises from the Buddhistic tradition, from which we can derive strength. by Lisa Freund 320 pages, 978-3-426-29191-7 March 2011
