How far would you go for the people you love?
Likah has taken on responsibility for the twins and with the loot from one last big heist she wants to finally save them from the streets. Instead the young woman ends up in front of the court charged with murder. To her immeasurable surprise she is made an enticing offer. Likah is to be trained in the magic of the first language by Arkin, the ruler. Although life in the court is characterised by intrigues and power games, it does not really shake the thief. However, when she discovers why Arkin really made her his pupil, it forces her to question everything she has ever believed.
