Horvath and the Missing Pupil

  • Part 2 Gregor Horvath on an excursion to the darkest Black Forest
  • Case no. 2 for the charmingly odd secondary school teacher and Poirot fan
  • Marc Hofmann (German and English teacher) writes from the perspective of a harassed insider
  • Little blood, subtle humour and a drama that everyone can relate to: the class trip...

Anyone who has survived a class trip will love this crime novel!

Secondary school teacher Gregor Horvath accompanies a class of 16 and 17-year-olds to a cabin in the Black Forest as part of a school trip. However, one pupil disappears without a trace during the first night. Upon questioning the others, Horvath uncovers a mixture of bullying, jealousy and teenage nonsense. When dubious figures are sighted near to the cabin, Horvath calls on criminal police officer Betty Deville for help. And when another pupil goes missing, Horvath understands that the problems are only just beginning! Horvath must use all his skill in order to bring the drama to a happy conclusion. Not only as a teacher, but also as an action hero...

“A teacher like Hofmann is needed to tackle it.” Südwest Presse on his show “Der Klassenfeind” (the class enemy)

“Wicked, accurate, sarcastic and without any educational value. Never boring!” Badische Zeitung on his cabaret programme “Der Klassenfeind” (the class enemy)
