Blueberry Murders

Tessa, 32-years old, dreams of life in the country, with frilly chic and fruitcake. Jana, 63-years old, lives in the country, with wellington boots and manure heaps. They don’t really have anything in common. Apart from the fact that they are half-sisters – and the house by the lake, which they have both inherited. Oh yes, and of course the corpse in precisely this lake … with North German composure and Berlin panache, the two dissimilar sisters try to solve their first murder case.

Mareike Marlow

Mareike Marlow came up with her first stories in the Urstromtal of the Isar River, while on discovery tours with her dog. Stranded in Berlin as a young woman, she did appreciate the benefits of the big city that never sleeps, but deep in her heart she felt the yearning for country life. And so she and her husband moved from the capital to a wonderful village in Lower Saxony. Here she tends her garden, roams the countryside with her children and in this way always finds a new idea for her books.
