Saskia is a chef with a passion for fencing who leads
an ordinary life – until she comes face to face with
the mysterious Levantin in a fencing match. The
encounter leaves her with a number of nasty gashes,
which – to Saskia’s astonishment – almost
immediately heal. Little does she realize that
Levantin is a demon who first started looking for her
centuries ago. He knows of her latent talent and
wants to awaken it, hoping that she will open the
Blood Portal and enable him to return home. But no
one has told Saskia how to use her gift, and she
unwittingly opens doors that should always stay
closed...
