Childhoods: How Small People Grow up in Other Countries

African babies cry much less than German ones do; in Japanese day care the little ones feel much better than in ours; in Finland there’s »first aid« for children who aren’t succeeding in school … And there are many more examples of successfully raising children in this world. Michaela Schonhöft has been to Southeast Asia and South America, to Scandinavia and France and elsewhere, and has spoken with parents all over the globe. Her advice: dear parents, look to the good experiences of other countries for inspiration! There’s never only way to go.
