Rainer M. Schröder, born in Rostock in 1951, is one of Germany's best known authors of books for a teenage audience. With his meticulously researched and grippingly told historic young adult novels, he has built an enthusiastic readership for the last ten years. After spending many years travelling all over the world, he now lives at the Atlantic coast of Florida with his wife. Rainer M. Schröder has published numerous success novels and bestsellers, among them many historical novels such as Die Bruderschaft von heiligen Gral (The Brotherhood of the Holy Grail) (Arena Verlag) or the Australia novel Unter dem Jacaranda-Baum (Beneath the Jacaranda Tree).
