An old love, good vibes and lots of North Sea flair
72-year-old Frauke Hansen is taken by surprise when she inherits an old cutter - and her friend Barbara has the idea of turning it into a floating cafe in order to escape the boredom of the retirement home in Burhave. She converts the cutter with the help of teenager Keno, who wants to become a carpenter. Soon they are sailing into the surrounding harbours and making new friends, including Keno’s grandfather who looks very much like an old flame from Frauke’s youth. Frauke is thrilled. Fortunately, the small crew of the Cutter Cafe are there to help in word and deed, even if there are stormy seas ahead....
