The Winter Princess

England 1670. The festering conflict between Protestants and Catholics and the secret pact of Dover with the French King Louis XIV create the framework for Sandra Lessmann’s gripping historical novel: The Jesuit priest Jeremy Blackshaw travels to Paris under orders from King Charles II, searching for a missing exchange of letters between Charles and his sister Henriette, King Louis’s sister-in-law. This correspondence must under no account fall into the wrong hands, for they carry an explosive secret.
