When your love means the end of the world....
The palace of Dariana is divided. An old feud separates men and women, and segregates the respective sexes into their own halves of the palace. Crown Princess Malena is suffering from this situation. She does not want to believe that all men wish her evil just because she is a woman. Her only confidant is Valerian, with whom she is to rule the kingdom after her coronation. But an old curse sows doubt between the two and soon Malena discovers that there is more to the old stories than she would like to believe.
